Jenna and Peter met at the University of South Carolina during their freshman year. Jenna was a member of Tri Delta & Peter was in Phi Sigma Kappa. Peter took Jenna to the Carolina Cup - their first date!

Jenna and Peter remained close throughout college - between business classes together, formals & mountain weekends, football games & tailgates, and nights out in Five Points, they were always drawn back to each other. Here they are at Jenna's junior year sorority formal!

Jenna and Peter rekindled after graduating from South Carolina once COVID hit in 2020. Peter was driving back to Baltimore and Jenna was headed back to Rockville. One date and it stuck! Jenna first visited Peter in Chicago later that summer - the first of many!

Labor Day weekend in Lewes, DE where Peter asked Jenna to be his girlfriend! The beginning of their long distance relationship.

Jenna's first Lollapalooza in Chicago! This quickly becomes one of Jenna and Peter's favorite weekend festivals of the summer. They continue to go every year, even Jenna's sisters have joined the tradition.

If there is one thing about Peter, he is a HUGE Baltimore, Ravens fan! He has been going to games his entire life & even works as a ball boy on his spare weekends. Peter's excitement for the team made Jenna join the fandom! Peter took Jenna to her first Ravens (and NFL) football game, & they beat the Colts in overtime.

This weekend, Peter showed Jenna Chicago from the sky! They enjoyed a Chicago tourist day at the Willis Tower Skydeck. They later went apartment hunting and signed the lease to their apartment!

Jenna moves to Chicago! She completed the 13 hour drive from Charlotte to Chicago.

LET'S GO CAPS!!! The Washington Capitals were in town against the Chicago Blackhawks - they got to support Jenna's favorite hockey team and witnessed Alexander Ovechkin's 800th career goal!

Peter and Jenna love going to events together at Wrigley field - concerts and cubs games are a summer Chicago must. They hosted the whole Martinko family this summer when Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band came in town.

Jenna and Peter's first trip abroad together - they visited Greece and Italy for 10 days.

Every year, Jenna's friends from Charlotte go on a ski trip to Edwards, CO. This year, Peter joined in on the fun! They skied Beaver Creek and Vail, with some well deserved "Après-ski" throughout the week.

Jenna and Peter visited Traverse City, MI for a spontaneous midwest getaway weekend! They explored all the wineries - one of their favorite weekends spent together.

Peter proposes!!! On a chilly Saturday in Chicago, Peter brought Jenna up to the LondonHouse rooftop and popped the question. While drinking champagne and admiring the day, Peter still had some surprises up his sleeve for Jenna. He flew in all their family members for a weekend full of celebrating - Jenna had no idea!!
